Incredibly sad

The plants are well looked after and it kept clean and tidy. Very sad reading the personal messages on the headstones from the soldiers families. Anyone with kids over 10 should... read more

Been to this small quiet Cemetery several times passing through to the Taurus Bridge over the Soulevre nearby and it is a good place to collect ones thoughts. Always well kept and the cyclamen around the borders in Autumn make me realise just how much thought has gone into making this place such a peaceful resting place for all the... More

This small British war cemetery was a few kms from our holiday gite and we visited as we were a little early to pick up the keys. It is set in beautiful, rural surroundings and is so calm and peaceful - a stark difference to the horrors that led to the need for such a place. The Cemetery is immaculate... More

This beautiful, well manicured little British cemetary is a very moving place, especially the gravestones which are anonymous. We attended a service here on 6th June this year, which was the 70th anniversay of D Day. I was moved by the number of French villages who sent envoys with their commune flags here to commemorate the brave actions of the... More

Visited here on a kind a pilgrimage. Needed to visit a grave. Not a relative but a friend and comrade in Welsh Guards of a relative. So glad I came - extremely emotional for me - a huge bucket list tick.

We went to this small, beautifully maintained cemetery last summer for the first time; my grandfather who was killed in the latter part of the war is buried there and I felt it was something I needed to do, to at least put a scene to a name. A moving place, made all the more poignant when reading the names... More

The owner of our gite told us about this cemetery and we went there after a visit to a nearby rose garden. I doubt if many people go there which makes it more moving. It is very quiet and so you can sit and reflect on the futility of war.
