We visited Nunney Castle, as it was quite near to where we were staying. It's a nice ruin, in very pretty grounds, but not worth a special visit unless you were passing.

A very atmospheric old castle. It's only a shell, but it's in a beautiful setting and you can get a very good idea of how it was before it was destroyed.

Small but a beautiful castle. Plenty of parking. The village and surroundings are lovely too. Pubs and cafes very close too.

Round towers look very commanding on this castle. Nunney is well worth a visit. Quiet location with George Inn nearby. Car parking a bit limited. Would not want to drive a motorhome nearby!
