We dropped in on what was called Pizza Night. It's not essential to have pizza and we didn't as we only wanted a snack but what a deal. You say you are having pizza and they keep slices coming (with chips and salad) until you've had enough. Really rustic pub and very friendly staff.

This is a traditional country pub, very down to earth and welcoming.
The food was tasty and hot. We both had chicken with garlic mash (well I had mine plain) and absolutely gorgeous roasted root veg. The potions are hearty so unfortunately we didn't have room for a dessert but I'm sure they are just as good!

We were staying in Leavening and stopped in on a Monday. We were welcomed and although a full menu wasn't offered we were invited to purchase Yorkshire stew self serve. It was delicious. Beer and cider on tap were great.

Friendly welcome in the bar, shown to our table and drinks brought in for us.
Good selection of specials on the menu, and a good price too.
Food was very tasty, steaks cooked as ordered and what portion sizes. Couldn't manage all our main course so it was wrapped to go.
We will be back.

Another terrific Sunday lunch at the Jolly Farmers. My wife had the cod with bubble and squeak. It looked amazing and she said the taste was to die for. My roast topside of beef was also sublime. Will definitely be back soon

Dropped in for a drink after being out for Sunday lunch. Cosy and welcoming pub. Menu looked comprehensive although we were too full to try! Will probably return to sample.
