Good Experience and Exercise

My husband and I visited this place on the weekend morning around 9.30 am. We chose the Tour 2,which takes you approximately an hour or so to walk around the cave.

Tour 2 is the dry tour. Suitable for all age. It is not a guided tour (you do not need one), it is more walk around at your own pace. For this tour 2, you able to visit 5 platforms. Tour 1 is only 3 platforms and you will missed the special wind tunnel at platform 4 if you go for tour 1.

The counter lady explained well to us on the difference between tour 1 and 2, polite and soft spoken lady.

Overall, some stairs climbing included but not too tough as you can do it on your own pace.

You need to try the LEVEL 3 or FULL TOUR CAVING!
OH TERBAIK! I can even articulate them in words. The nature is so beautiful and unadulterated. So pure! Awesome! Malaysians need to try this at least once in your lifetime!

Worth the Climb!
Aug 2020 • Family
Anyone who would like get into cave climbing can start up with Gua Tempurung.

After walking about 100-200m, the metal walk way become stairs, up and down. It will be quite tiring and exhausting because lack of
moving air and wind.

We didn’t manage to walk until the end because we were too tired 😓, we stop at Platform 3 & turned back. But it’s still worth the claim and we really enjoy it. Our sons enjoy the whole journey. We plan to come here again and prepare ourselves before we climb the cave again!

Wow! What a cave!
A unique experience going up and down the many steps to reach the different areas of this cave.
I was completely blown away by it!
An incredible natural landmark that anyone in the area should go and see.

Crazy climb up and down but worth the effort. Tempurung Cave is mysterious and beautiful. You may choose dry tours or wet tours. Any tour is exhilarating. Lots to see and photograph.

4hours of fun (Tour 4)
Feb 2020 • Friends
Absolutely fun. Some challenging obstacles but if my 5yo niece could do it, i rest my case. Weekends could be crowded. So plan ahead. Wear proper attire. Please DO NOT litter as we did find alot of them. We decided to grab as much garbage all the way out but it was sad to know there were humans out there with that mindset.

Anyway, gopro wud be good addition as both your hands and legs will be occupied. Welcome to Perak

Good surprise

Surprising place.
We didn't plan to go there, but our driver insisted we visit it.
He was definitely right.
Short tour last about 50 minutes.
Wear shoes to not slipper: be prepared to climb stairs sometime a little wet.
Inside is quite humid and hot.

Taken the Tower of the World Tour 2 which cost RM12. It was quiet interesting and exilirating because we have to ascend 120 Meter Limestone Cave with tour guide

Really fun experience!
Dec 2019
It was my first cave exploration and it's a little harder than I thought. Luckily the guide was very professional and the other people there were also really helpful. There were over 20 people in the group to two guides. It helped to have so many people because there were two parts in the tour where we had to slide down a large rock-- one was a 5 meters slide while the other was 9 meters - - and the people who go down first will help to catch the people who slide down later. The water is not deep, probably about waist level but certain parts are quite narrow so you sort of have to army crawl through it, that's why you will eventually be wet up to neck. When we were there, many of the locals who have been there before recommended getting the rubber shoes from Mr DIY(they are only about 6 ringgit) as they have good traction. My shoes were a little too slippery and hence I had a bit of difficulty climbing certain parts, where there wasn't much to hold onto, just a smooth rock with slight indents on them. I took the longest wet tour-- also called the grand tour-- and that took us 4 hours. For grand tour a head lamp is absolutely necessary. Waterproof phone pouch is also recommended so that you can take pictures. Wear long pants and covered shoes. My shoes were not fully covered so there was a bit of abrasion. But nonetheless I really enjoyed the experience.

Note: It's quite hard to get Grab/taxi from the area so make sure to arrange for transportation beforehand otherwise you might have difficulty getting out of that place.
