The attraction is known for the rare colour and clarity of the water. However, it seems like they made it a "natural-aquarium-attraction". They put in the supposed to be salt water fishes, and feed it because they were not able to find natural food in their new habitat. I traveled alone and of course people asked me why am I... More

It's called Enchanted River because it really has an enchanting aura and feel. The water is absolutely cold it gives relief to a exhausted body. Looking around the river alone already gives you a certain kind of chill that you cannot comprehend. But of course, you won't feel afraid because there a lot of people around. The food outside the... Impressive. Beautiful. Extravagant.Striking. Superb. Awe-inspiring. Breathtaking. Entrance Fee is P30, cottages ranges from P200-P1000. They offer life vest rental worth P15 per hour. I suggest you go there weekdays because the place tend to be very crowded during weekends (imagine 300 people dipping on the river at the same time!). They also take pictures of you underwater if you don't... More

... as I know from previous visits. It's a bit brown due to heavy rain the past weeks. There's too many people running around but what should they do. They of course cannot refuse admission to visitors. Everybody has the right to see this beautiful river. But of course they could provide waste baskets and remove visitors out that throw garbage... One of the famous tourist destination in Surigao. I first visited this last 2012 and my recent visit was on November 2016. This beautiful river never changed! Still it has a clear water where you can see the beautiful rock formation and the fishes under. They feed the fished at noon and the facility closes at 5:00PM. Rates: Entrance Fee... More

Have to take 10mins walk since vehicle are not allowed to go in to control the traffic, upon arriving at the entrance, you will be greeted by the staffs. When I saw the river, I was amazed by the clarity of the water and it is very cold to swim. Just enjoyed the view!

it is a nice place to swim, but not for just bathing, cause it is too deap- the water is wonderful clear. Water of the unterearth river and the sea are mixing, so it is salty.

I have always been curious to see and to feel the beauty of this spot. So my family and I booked a 2 day tour. However, upon arrival by merely looking at the people and the crowd gave more stress than relaxation to me and my companions. My dad did not even bother to dip his foot he opted to... More
