Over the years we have walked here probably every week with our dogs, we love it. You should definitely become a member, it's not too expensive for what you get and always nice to give back.

A once pretty and natural walk tended just enough to make it look loved and the late Major Spowers pride and joy. Sadly Windlesham Arboretum is now left to decay, the grass is now only cut once every two years, trees are left to fall and weeds and brambles are abundant. The Friends of the Arboretum have been disbanded, The... More

This used to be such a lovely place to visit a few years back when you could access nearly all parts....However it has been completely ruined with all the areas that are inaccessible unless you are a member. We used to be members but discontinued when the price was hiked and extra was charged for parking also lots more restrictions... More

I have lived in Windlesham for 24 years and this was a wonderful place to lose yourself and clear the mind. But not anymore like all good things a great deal of the walks that were avalible are no more such a shame.

Since we last went a couple of years ago, most of the land has been enclosed by barbed wire fences and gates with coded security locks and notices informing walkers that unless you have paid an annual subscription to be a member of the charitable trust, you will be considered a trespasser and could be prosecuted. Not very welcoming! What... More

Lovely place to walk the dog or walk with family and friends. You need to be an SCT member to be able to access all areas as this is turning into a conservation area - and rightly so to protect our natural wildlife. If you are not a member then you have to stick to the gravel paths which can... More

Was impressed with the Arboretum, but disappointed that so much was inaccessible, It is a very pretty walk through fields, lakes and rivers and although close to motorway, very rural feel to it. Good place to dog walk, but the wire fencing closing off so many paths, felt a bit restricted. Shame, as there is so much to appreciate here.

We visited the Arboretum and thought it an undiscovered gem. It is peaceful, beautifully maintained and personal.

As the other reviewers have said, there appears to be measures to keep anyone who like like trees and countryside out. Footpaths where planting is to block views, mussdy poorly kept rights of way and amazingly unfriendly signs. I hope the owners don't claim any charitable gain as it uses to be an open access place of beauty. Such a... More

This is a pleasant area tucked away between Windlesham and Lightwater. There is a parking area and a few interesting folleys. Its a nice walk. I would just say that it is very popular with dog walker .... but not all clean up mess, so be careful.
