adventure experience inside the cave and exploring the nature
Aug 2018 • Solo
the cave is 400m long and is sculpted by a stream running through a chalky cliff. From the valley, along the stream, you can walk through tunnels with walls shaped by water, encountering the typical calcareous concretions of chalky caves, until you reach the fossil environments. One of the characteristics of this cave is the presence of large colonies of bats, over 8,000 individuals of seven different species

Different from what you would expect
Aug 2016 • Family
The caves are different from one would expect as they are excavated by the river in chalk rock.
Therefore very narrow . They are inhabited by bats so the curious aspect of the caves is that, if one is lucky, you can get a good site of bats.
However it is important to ask as sometimes the bats are not around and some of the caves are not visible as mothers have just delivered.
There is a guided tour that can be booked.
