We recently held our daughters wedding reception at Kelmarsh Hall. I appreciate I may be a little biased in my review, however I could not find fault with the venue. The Hall and grounds make for a fantastic setting and the staff could not have been more helpful, particularly Charlotte and Emma - all in all a wonderful day.

Very interesting tour of the house. Interior magnificent. Gardens lovely. Took a packed lunch, but cafe prices seemed reasonable for the type of place. Easy access by bus.

More dogs than people. Very little about "Game". Too many greasy eateries. Usual clothes outlets. There are better fairs now to attend.

We went to the country show paid £15 to get in which probably contributed to the shows. As there were the devils horsemen.which was great. Lots of stalls with various goods. Was a ok day.

First first visit here with the family to visit the gardens, we did not visit the house. The long driveway up to the hall is currently (7 Apr) full of snakes head fritillaries, beautiful drifts of them. The daffodils are largely over but must have looked lovely a couple of weeks earlier. Very nice gardens and woodland walks, lots of... More

After a nice lunch in the tearoom, we first went on a guided tour of the hall. This lasted for 90 minutes, far longer than we had anticipated. Perhaps overly long, the tour was interesting and covered many nicely furnished rooms Then we escaped to the gardens and wandered around in the sun, passing the massed daffodils around the lake,... We didn't have time to go in the house but the gardens are excellent. Several different styles from formal to woodland, you could spend several, hours walking slowly round and exploring. Check opening times before going as it does not open every day. The house is by guided tour and not available every day the grounds open.

Had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful house and gardens today, both were outstanding. We had a house tour by a lovely guide who was excellent and her passion for the property certainly shone through. The walled garden was gorgeous, particularly the amazing dahlias and roses. What a treat to be served tea in a lovely china teapot, teacup and... More

Visited on a sunny day (which is essential), didn't bother doing the inside of the house just the gardens. The flowers in the garden, especially the walled garden, were very good. Facilities are a bit basic.
