This area is known for a load of Pokemon stops and a gym as well. The church itself was not on our list of places to visit. The building itself has a number 1893 written on it and that makes it an ooooold building.

I just find this church when I was in Sokos Flamingo Vantaa. So I walked by google map. It is one of old church recommended by tripadvisor at Vantaa. Unfortunately it is in renovation on Mar. 2017, and will open it on 2nd of Apr 2017. Next time I should visit it again to see inside.

This fascinating church is located near Helsinki airport. The church dates back to the 16 th century. It is made of natural stone with beautiful wood carvings inside.Take a break and enjoy a calming moment in the old village surrounding it and have afternoon tea in Cafe Laurentius,a traditional wooden house, by the gate to the churchyard.

As we live in Helsinki, this church is quite close and popular among our friends. It represends old times. The church with its surroundings is quite beautiful. I recommend a walk to a nearby house (I'm not sure if you are able to visit the house), but it was built ~1800 and still feels like it.

This historical old environment exist still but you have to find it first. I can assure that it is worth it. The old church ("grey-stone-church") has interesting history behind. I recommend that before visiting here you make your home study or take history leaflet with you. You will get so much more out of this area if you go a... More

Nice church to visit, especially if you are foreigner - for me as a Finn there is nothing special but for a person who wants to familiarize with Finnish churches, a great place.

If you're a fan of churches, this is on top5 of the best churches at Helsinki Area. Located quite near the airport, and 20min by car from Downtown Helsinki, this is also not so far away.
