We were told that we must go & see the 'pink building but unless you go inside that's all it is a 'pink' building, not far off of the main shopping street. It's situated in a nice square with a water fountain & lots of...More

For a smallish city, this municipal building seemed gigantic to us yet not particularly interesting. What was interesting was the two statues in front of the building. One showed a large bird killing a rabbit and the other one a smaller bird killing a big...More

Even without anything here in terms of activities and such, then the town hall of Haugesund is a beautiful building that is most definitely worth a visit, and it makes for a beautiful backdrop for taking photos. Nice, though simplistic, architecture, but the construction as...More

For a small town, Haugesund has an impressive town hall built in the classical style of the 1920s. We found the main door open and took a peek at the mural paintings and decorations inside. The building appeared to be empty of people.

It's really close to the town's shopping mall, Markedet. There is also a bus stop right behind. It looks really nice in the snow. Only city hall in Norway to be of it's colour.

Very beautiful town hall. There is a square in front of it also very pretty! I was really surprised with the number of beautiful sculptures nearby.

Voted to be the best looking city hall in Norway. It's bright pink and in the middle of Haugesund. Perfect to look at from the park next to the university and he culture house.

The building is located right in the middle of the small city of Haugesund. With its pink colour, the town is unmistakeable and quickly became the icon of the city. A good spot for landscape photographer, the location is also equipped with a spacious city...More
