Everything seemed fine with the world for a few minutes!

The church here plays Away in a manger on the church bells twice a day it can be heard in all the hotels around. Its funny, The church was locked the entire 11... More

It is a nice promenade next to it, but this corner is more quiet, no rush there. It is located next to very beautiful art nouveau building. You can enjoy all the architectural details, while drink Your coffee or tea. I wouldn't say it is different from any other place on promenade.

Just a little square with a kiosk, trees, chairs and a outlook over a modest bay. There are some nice restaurants in the area Piccolo Padre (nice terrace on waters edge - need to book), Perperoncino, Barracudas and others. However we wandered along on a lazy Sunday morning and enjoyed hanging out with the locals in the square. The tables... More

Great little place to kick back and relax. I highly recommend Zeppi's restaurant just off the square for some supper. Their spaghetti Vongole is wonderful. Ballutta square is also a great place to watch Maltese culture in action. Enjoy Balluta Square and it's uniqueness.

Of all the Bay's in Malta I love Balutta Bay most of all... plenty of diners around and a promenade where one can walk for miles .

Balluta Bay is one of the bays found in St Julian's, it is surrounded by bars, coffee shops and restaurants.

Basically this is a hut in a square, but all locals come here to chat and while away the time. Good coffee, cakes and their speciality.... pea cakes delicious. Also sell alcohol and numerous hot pies. Worth a visit but it does get VERY busy.

You pass by this square (which is nothing special), if you walk by the promenade from St Julian's to Sliema (very nice promenade). The square itself has nothing special, but there are a few worth-trying restaurants with nice view :)
