Meandering hike from the beach to the cliffs. Lots of ecologically different areas including ocean, marsh, ponds, etc. It is an out and back trail. Hard to find initially however I think that minimizes the number of hikers to our benefit. They obviously take care...More

This trail was a nice easy level trail thru some very pretty woods that offered shade on a sunny day, and ended at a beautiful beach.

As it was a coolish Memorial Day weekend, and we're not big shoppers, this was a great activity for our family -- we all got warm as we walked along the bluffs/cliffs. I only wish there had been a place for us to sit (rocks?)...More

Great place to get close to the sea side. Rocky coast line and sandy walk ways. Bring the pup on a leash, and enjoy the fresh breeze. North lighthouse is a distance, but still a great view if you can only go so far. Classic...More

Glad we stumbled across this trail but next time must bring bug spray due to aggressive flys. Parking available. Nice woodland walk to beach and bluffs. Make your own clay figures from the sediment. Lots of debris washed up on shore including large dead whale....More

One of my favorite things to do on block island is to get up early, before it's busy, and ride my bike to a trail for quiet walking. This is a fantastic trail for birds and fantastic water views over the cliff-side. The trail is...More

Stay out of the trails in the maze that run to the left. Stay on the open mowed path and you can walk down to a great beach w/ surf and wonderful sounds as the waves move across the beach stones.

Take the time to hike this gorgeous trail, it is magnificent! It is not too difficult. We took a cab from the ferry dock to the trail entrance for $18 but wished we had taken a cab to the far end of the trail and...More

The path to the trail is easy enough to find, although cyclists might find that there are too many cars using that little entry road. It's a lovely walk, but a sign post here and there would help one to make a round trip more...More

The trail is fairly level w/ a one gradual relatively short down hill section if you take the right junction trail to the beach. Otherwise to the left at the junction you are walking slightly up and down on a high ridge... More
