Great place to walk in the wilderness. You can feed animals, plenty of place for children to play.
Entry fee is 8€ for adults and small children can enter free. This is a great price in my opinion.
The restaurant’s food is great considering the fact that places like this normally don’t try to impress visitors, since they are in a monopole situation, so people would eat either way. However, it’s pretty overpriced, but these places are rarely cheap anyway.
Great place to visit on a Saturday morning to relax and connect with nature. Definitely not for those who seek adventures.

Visiting the raccoons is a unique experience for young and old! All the animals we saw are trusting, funny and just adorable. Feeding the raccoons is really a highlight that I recommend to all raccoon enthusiasts - when do you get so close to these funny, clever animals?!
The friendly boss Angelika and her staff gave us a very warm personal welcome and we felt really comfortable - both in the entire park and in the cozy, modern restaurant. There is a great selection of good food in a relaxed atmosphere. Even the dishes are lovingly designed with animal motifs!
The souvenir shop is also something special, because you can find lots of beautiful souvenirs, such as an organic cotton blanket with a personal design of the highest quality, which will always remind me of the special day in the Hochreiter forest park and the enchanting, up-close encounter with the raccoons. :)
Conclusion: A perfect destination for adults (without kids) who love animals, in the relaxing forest with fresh air and easy-to-manage walkways. (Even light rain is no problem.) The sanitary facilities are also extremely clean, spacious and bright - which is to be commended, as this is not a given for zoos.
You can see in every detail that the forest park is run with a lot of love and care - warm compliments to the entire team! 😊💕

Fine, small animal and play park with a great forest experience. Friendly hosts, good cook. Children are happy. Only the domestic pigs absolutely need a larger enclosure. And if you want your children to get organic food and drinks, you have to bring the snack with you. Fair entrance fees, beautiful wooden buildings.
