This is a big garden, well tended, with flora from many places around the globe, as well as some animals. At the end there is Miniby (Danish for mini-town) where they reconstruct Kolding (pronounce: Calling) as it was in 1870. We played frisby on the lawn. If you visit Kolding in the spring or summertime, this is a must see. The gardens are beautiful and Kolding Mini By is fun for locals as well. So pack a lunch or buy a sandwich at the cafe, and enjoy the scenery.

A lot of plants and trees and places to have a walk with friends or family. Nice outdoor place for activities.

Such a beautiful area to walk around and admire plants and shrubs from various parts of the world, the gardens are separated into different areas of the world and there are two different walks (one shorter) so that you can follow the flow around the gardens. The staff are very helpful and there is a cafe near the entrance. well... More

Usually, the gardens are botanical, because the focus is on plants. This garden is called "geographical" and it is indeed one. Structured by areas of our lovely Earth, it brings you to the mood - whether you are in Japan or China, you can feel the difference.

This is a lovely garden in Kolding. It has walking trails, grassy spaces, lovely outdoor plants, an indoor greenhouse with magnificent Camelias, picnic tables, play areas for children, and even a mini zoo with exotic birds and farm animals. A place to relax, and for folks with natural interest at heart. Has husbandry, rose collections, and spices sections as well as a glass botanical for the tropical plants.

The annual plant market is a must - one in the summer and one in september. Nice All year round place, ok cafe, Nice everything for an outing. Don't miss.
