To be honest I expected cleverer automata and I think kids would be bored. Even Futuroscope comes out well in comparison. But for an adult it's a different view on the bygone age of much anticipated shopping experience in the early to mid 20th century....More

Walk down "streets" of shop windows with Christmas Shop window displays made with automation to excite children with all their wonders!

Well its ok if you have your kids in tow, but its too trivial for adults (in my opinion). The clue for who its aimed at is in the introductory film which shows two children exploring a spooky space and coming across a chimp automation....More

If you like automated figurines from the fashionable high streets of Paris then this is for you. If you don't , then its not for you and there is a side exposition of local artist paintings.

It was an interesting visit learning about the history behind them, although it was a lot of money for a 5 minute film and a 20 minute view of windows (even with a 7 yr old flitting around)

What a beautiful museum, well worth a visit. Strange, funny, surreal and quirky. The streetscape is very well done, and there's also a nice shop.

Intro movie a bit spooky, scared the kids a we basically ran through the museum, because kids lost the interest after movie and half darkness through exhibition. Find it more suitable for adults rather than family. All respect to the mechanics who get the idea...More
