I absolutely love cheese and my wife bought me this day out as a Christmas present. Mark and Sarah are fantastic hosts and are more than ably assisted by Gary who seamlessly takes you through the process of making the various cheeses. And he prepares a super lunch obviously followed by a cheese plate. You work in pairs making hard... More

The cheese making course was absolutely brilliant and thoroughly recommended for those looking to get into home cheese making or just an interesting experience. Chris, Gary, Sarah and Mark were great hosts: the day was clearly meticulously planned and Gary (former chef) put on a lovely lunch. I could have listened to Chris talk about cheese for days! We made... More

My wife and I came for the one-day cheese making course, and I must say that it more than exceded both of our high expectations. We were greeted as we pulled up to the dairy by the staff, who were friendly and welcoming. They were also clearly passionate about their cheese and the production process, particularly the head cheese Chris... More

A really, really, enjoyable course. The day was well planned and very informative learning about cow, sheep and goats milk and types of cheese. Delicious cheeses to taste and a lovely lunch. Great atmosphere, relaxed but purposeful. At the end of the day a selection of cheeses made on the course to take home. Sadly, all eaten except the cheddar... More

That was the name of my slip-cote cheese that I made. Came 2nd in the tasting! The most incredible course, very informative and hands-on. Mark, Sarah and Gary have incredible value for money. All eight of us students left with our home-made cheeses, ample instructions on how to continue making cheese at home and full of admiration for such a... More

I've bought several of the High Welad cheeses at various times, and called in to the dairy one Christmas and bought half a dozen different cheeses for a New Year's Eve dinner party - when went down very well with my guests, including one or two real "foodies". So when I had a significant Birthday last year, I was delighted... More
