Only by boat or foot, the place is enchanting, with three little restaurants (two on the beach) and the Abbazia to visit. Small very nice beach, only for respectful visitors. The kind of very precious place.

There are no roads to reach the abbey set on a private cove. Hence you go there by boat or by foot (strenuous path). Depending on your physical condition, you'll need 2 to 3 hours to get to San Fruttuoso. Do bring a hat, sunscreen,...More

This is totally a gem of the path! This location is so remote and beatiful that one could only hope it never gets crowded by tourists. This cannot happen. Beatiful water and very nice surroundings. No big deal to reach this place - all you...More

I visited the Monastery by boat from Santa Margherita, the trip on the boat was good and the Monastery OK, The spot is so overcrowded with day trippers trying to find a secluded beach that it spoils the area. The Monastery is well preserved and...More

Slight dissapointment. Was expecting to see a beautiful monestary, but the place is completely commercialized. If you want to go to a small beach with soso restaurants and bars, this is it. If you want to see an old abbey from the 1000th century, skip...More

Agree with Ana. Went there last month and we hiked through but it's so small you can keep an eye on your stuff while swimming. Enjoy!

Dear Kalkan37, it is possible to park the car in Camogli for a few days. Near the theatre, in Matteotti Square, there is an unguarded parking with entrance bar open 24 hours, the maximum daily rates for 24 hours € 30,00.
