Four of us visited Sesimbra in March. The weather was pretty bad but we managed a couple of very nice walks along this beautiful beach. It looked really clean and we hope to return some day to experience it in more clement conditions. There were several people trying to surf there, so I can imagine it must be quite spectacular... This is a lovely little beach. Close to bars and restaurants, not flash, probably best in low season, clean as a whistle and ticks all the boxes for a blue flag beach. It's not a private little cove, it's a town beach but it doesn't feel like it.

A very well known beach in Sesimbra with good facilities overall, clean and pleasant for families. No big waves, in fact quite calm, therefore good for children and older people.

Nice beach to go around with small kids especially on sunny days. Small but comfortable beach . Nearby The Village.

We were staying right in front of the beach and we went there everyday for a week. The water can be cold at times but you get used to it and it's actually nice. Not a lot of waves on site. Overall the beach is clean, but do your part and bring a bag to put your garbage in.

In the middle of the village with the rocks of the Serra de Arriba as picturesque background. The water is cold (Atlantic Ocean) and becomes deep very quick. But it is really beautiful.

Just natural and beautiful. Amazing clean. Sea unspoiled . Best I have seen. Maybe comparable with Sardinia for water quality but colder as it's the Atlantic . Great for those who enjoy a natural beach

Well worth a visit if you want a lively beach area with quite a lot of people, restaurants, shops and things to do on the beach. It was a decent day until we came back to our car and found it had been broken into. We parked it on the main road coming into town, in the free parking area,... More

The beach is great and has a beautiful landscape having SESIMBRA on the right sideline. Calm sea without or with very calm waves. Cold waters, but I believe this is their warmer side of SESIMBRA. The beach has shadows to rent and an area for people which prefer to bring their own umbrella. Behind the beach there's one good restaurant and... More

Wow what a beach but how busy!! Water is sooo cold, we only managed to get our toes in the first few days but then adjusted to it... You have the Harbour side which has loungers €10 for 2 beds and parasol, which also has life guards, this is perfect for young children, the other beach is busier with locals... More
