My missus and I decided to get away for a short break where she could enjoy the sun and I could get in a round or two of golf. Before travelling I booked in for a round at 12:30 and explained I was on my own and wished to join one or two others. I checked in at the shop... More

Compared to the other courses in the area it wasn't up to their standard. Obviously a very popular course as its reasonably priced and next to Villamoura. Party in front of us (12) had mixed ability (mixed between useless and hopeless). We had a 5 hour round behind these guys and no stewards moving them along.

See my 1st review dated October 2013. We had problems with a lack of buggies last time and 3 years later it was the same. This time we had pre-booked (13 of us now)and were told that they were all out on the course. A group of 4 checking in behind us were told no buggies were available and that... More

Visited with friends on a hot day. Golf course in reasonable condition although buggies paths pretty dreadful in some stretches. Temperatures in the mid 30's and we set off with some water with a promise that the buggy bar would be round at regular intervals. Over 18 holes we didn't see it once and had to nip into the clubhouse... More

Played today with friends course in not the best of condition but where were the marshals as the round took five hours with no drinks trolley to be seen 👺. When we got back to the clubhouse it took four requests to get two Cokes and two Beers very difficult order!!! As for food please please don't be too hungry... More

Played the original Championship course with a friend who was over on holiday. The course was well presented, although some of the buggy paths need attention as they are a little bumpy. It would benefit from a starter on the 1st as it appeared to me that tee times were not being adhered to. A ranger would also be a... More

We played in June and hired buggies. The course itself is stunning but unfortunately the buggy paths were very bumpy due to tree roots pushing up the paths. We left the course with bad backs. The holes were challenging and we enjoyed other than the buggy rides.

We came to villamora for my husband and his friend to play golf , they played 4 times while we were here, it's a very challenging course; superb facility, immaculate and clean! But played on the Victoria course, absolute rip off stay away!!

Having played Vila Sol many times over the last eight years we were looking forward to playing it again. The twelve of us all agreed the course was tired with tee boxes in poor condition and fairways lacking grass. The course itself is a great layout but is in need of some tlc. Shame as the setting is great. The... More
