You can walk down the Eskilstuna lake and take a visit to Museum Munktell. They have old tractors and machines. It is really great.

I think it would be very hard to find a place like this in Australia. Most of the exhibits are real life working industrial items which is great. The subdued nature of the interior with unobtrusive staff made this a memorable visit from our trip to a small town next to Stockholm.

Sadly, we had only an hour to visit this museum before its closing time. There is a lot there especially if you are interested in tractors and other machinery. It is especially interesting because it is in the former factory.

The museum is more for people with special interest for tractor and Eskilstuna industry history. The best thing with the museum is that you will have free entrance when you live at clarion collection hotel in the same building, so then its worth take a look

Must visit in Eskilstuna. Excellent collection of Bolinder / Volvo machines, where majority of them is in good working condition. Museum located in the former production area of Bolinder Munktell factory.

Eskilstuna is a charming small city about an hour and a half drive from Stockholm. It is very enjoyable to walk around on a sunny afternoon and offers many outside restaurants and bars. One highlight of a visit to Eskilstuna is the Munktellmuseet. It is a museum that showcases much of the industrial contributions that the Munktell, Bolinder-Munktell and, more... More
