It's a sacred river. Pampa river is related with Sabarimala pilgrim. It is believed that bathing in pampa will clear all your sins. Gift of pampa is called Kuttanad. So many boat races are conducted in this river.

Veeyapuram - have a river walk through the fringes of Pamba – sit dipping your toes to the water and enjoy the pricking of little fishes – walk forward and merge with the vast green paddy fields lying 6 feet down the sea level.

The trekking for Sabrimala starts from here.You can't dip in the river for a bath as it is very unhygeni to do so....you could see the filth from your naked eyes itself.So.....Think before Dip

A holy river of Hindu is being disrespected by the same devotees who worship it. Kindly keep the river clean and maintain the sacredness of it. Devotees kindly have humanity. ..sensitivity and devotion to the river please.

A Must place to visit During Alappuzha Trip. You can enjoy Paddy fields on the way to changanserry from Alappuzha. Kuttanadu situated in Alappuzha it's nice calm and quite village. An evening ride with friends you will never forget
