We were there on a Saturday afternoon. As expected there were huge crowds and busloads of people from schools, etc. We did not exactly have good view of the tanah lot temple as it was crowded with people trying to take selfies. People were standing at the edge of the rock and it was quite dangerous. The Tanah Lot area... More

I went to Tanah Lot to view the sunset. Wow! What a scene. It was a bit crowded but you can't miss the beauty of the sunset. Feels good to walk in the black sands and look around at the temple. I also did a bit of shopping in the market outside of Tanah Lot. Got a lil crazy there...lol.... More

Visit the temple around 6pm for sunset view. This is one of the best temples to visit if you like seaviews. Also not far for on seminyak. Would advise to travel by car (half day trip will be around 25usd)
