India is a place of sacred architecture and this is one of them. It is a brick based structure that shows the Indian art in this part of the country. It's at the heart of the town so this is a must visit. A lot of stucco work has fallen but even in it's present state, it is a place... More

If you love architecture or history, this is one of the best place for you. Lovely pattern, red burnt clay and beautiful design. Kids will also enjoy their game through its more than 100 doors.

We have seen any documentaries or movies shot at this location. Multiple pillars makes a lovely pattern. Again visit not recommended during summer days.

Bishnupur is a very nice tourist attraction in West Bengal. It can be reached by bus, train or private car from kolkata. One will easily fall in love with the architecture inscribed on the walls of different temple.Rasmancha is one of them. It is a place where king and his courtiers used to amuse themselves and watch dance performance by dancers.... More

Bishnupur is a land of history and art (Terracotta) and the journey begins from here. Though it was build in 1600 by King Bir Hambir, the pyramidal roofed monument is still very well maintained by efforts from the locals and the Archaeological Survey of India. It is a must visit place, if you are an art as well as history... More

We went by road. We hired an autorickshaw to roam around the temples and the first stop was at Raasmancha where it is well maintained and have a little lawn, garden around it. Entrance fee Rs 15 per head and same ticket is valid for entry to two other temples as well. Try to understand the purpose of this building... More

If you are visiting Bishnupur, make sure start your tour from this place. The tickets for the remaining structures (Jor Bangla and Shyamrai Temple) need to be bought from here itself (cost Rs 15 per head - video-camera charges extra). We were a group of friends visiting Bishnupur from IIT Kharagpur. We did not have much idea regarding what to... More
