You can walk around Farum sø and the nature there is so beautiful and there is good signs when you walk there and a round trip is about 10 km.

The lake is surrounded by woods and meadows with a rich and varied wildlife of birds and deer. There is a path for walking or cycling all the way around the lake and in several places it is possible to go in for a swim. Although there are no other facilities but fresh clean water. On our 8 km long walk we met interesting people, picked & ate berries, saw ducks and deer, played with dogs, saw many families with children cycling or walking though it was not really a sunny day. Everything was well labelled and the path was easy to follow. The walk is long but not too demanding. I cannot recommend enough!... More

I live nearby this amazing lake. & the water is so clean, that u safely can go for a dip.! :) & there is a lot of wildlife & great nature experiences :) There is mountainbike & hiking trails around the lake. So if u like a good adventure in the nature. This is the place.! :)

I lived here for 7 years. On the little island, Klaus Nars Holm, in the middle of Farum Sø. So I know the lake and the area really well. There is quite a lot of forest to hike in but also the old village in Farum is cosy.
