Good beach, and rarely crowded

I didn't like the beach. The weather wasn't good. The buildings were ugly. There weren't bars or restaurants with good appearance. I think it doesn't deserve the the trip.

If you enjoy long runs while you enjoy the beach view, the is a perfect place. Nightlife is very poor and it's a beach who does not deserve to be known as "beautiful". Too "abandoned" for me.

I have visited the beach with frinds and family withe kids. It is a pitty that the sea was not good to swim... the majority of times its red ou yellow flag. Its a nice place to run/ walk or just play volleyball.

I absolutely love this place! Wonderful large, golden sandy beach, great esplanade to walk or sit and observe time passing by. Lovely for all ages. There are great cafes and places to eat. Nearby there's the pine forest, great for walks and cycle rides, and the lovely freshwater lagoon, Ervideira, where the whole family can paddle or swim. A must!

It is a quite place, the sea is amazing and also the people. You find nice bars, disco, people selling clothes and there is a place where you can play volleyball too.

Visited this beach with friends and family. Not too busy with a variety of restaurants and cafes. We had fantastic fresh fish in a restaurant right on the beach, delicious huge Sole and Sea Bass. Service and food was great. When the boats come in you can buy fresh fish on the sand. A lovely traditional friendly beach.

Even though the sea is beautiful it is also quite dangerous for kids and people who don't swim very well, as the waves are strong and the current very heavy and tiring. Besides that the dunes you have to cross to get to the beach are inside the "Pinhal de Leiria" the biggest pine forest in Portugal and one of... More
