great little beach

Well kept little beach right opposite the DB Seabank. The beach is lovely and clean with great cafes to get a beer or a bite to eat.

Really nice bay view with a nice sandy beach. Excellent for quite time as peaceful and easy to park and enjoy the bay. Coming into from the main town the view is beautiful. Must visit the area and walk around the peak before driving into the bay is very eye catching.

Great for kids as plenty of sand and shallow water. Plenty of places to eat close by. A very good bus service takes you there no matter where you are staying in Malta.

This is the reason we came here to check out the beach, although very scenic, its not that big, and would have been disappointed if we had come here for a summer holiday, as not what we would have wanted, ideal for family's but not if you want a bit of space on your beach.

The bay is beautiful but the beach itself is small, with little sand. However, a walk there can be very relaxing.

Nice beach that can get busy at wk ends and on national holidays...we always go round to the far side of the beach where the walk into the water is easy and no obstacles to stub your toe...toilets and cafes on the beach for public use. Buses pass all the time from right next to the beach and about 15-20... More

Came down to this beach and was little disappointed. Was a relatively nice beach...but very crowded and very little when it came to eating. A little tuck shop selling ice creams , drinks and panini so...etc... All very crappy though I thought. With plastic garden furniture outside it to sit at....real tacky I thought. I think I was expecting to... More

Even in late November this beach was perfectly suited for relaxing and even getting in the water for a bit.

We have visited Mellieha bay previously. However this year a few days before our visit there was a terrible storm. The beach was completely covered in seaweed, it looked in an awful state. However, there were diggers and other machinery working hard to put the storm damage right.

One of the nicest beaches in Malta (which is usually rocky)…big stretches of sand and shallow turquoise water…some friendly , average food places which is all you need when you basically want to swim and absorb the sun!
