Xlendi is my favourite location on Gozo. If you swim, don't use the beach. Walk round to the left as you are looking out to sea, and swim from the rocks. The water is clear and deep and there are plenty of benches and steps....More

A stunning location, once you've managed to park. A perfect place for scuba diving and snorkelling. The kids can go swimming as long as you keep an eye on them

Very nice place to visit if you are staying a couple of days in Gozo. The road from Victoria is excellent if you come by car or you may come with one of the public buses.

Whilst visiting friends in Malta we went on a day trip to Gozo and my friends told me about this bay before we got there. I have to say everything they said about it was true, not that big in size and no real beach...More

We hired a car whilst staying in Malta and drove around Gozo. We stumbled across Xlendi beach and it was absolutely stunning. Not a very big beach but nestled in between cliffs on one side and buildings on the other, with a foot path around...More

The bay has perfect conditions for any diver starting out. There is also a tunnel underneath the cliff on the right hand side that takes you to a reef. I'd highly recommend having a look.

It's quite a pull up the path but definitely worth it for the view, although not for those with vertigo!

A beautiful spot, this is a sheltered bay that has not been ruined by modern hotels. Lovely swimming and restaurants. Water sports. Absolute haven.

Hi Adam, Could you please let me know how did you get there. We are going to Malta on Friday and try to find the best way to visit Gozo attractions without a car, as one of our friend said we do not really need a car to explore the islands. Thanks Colette

Your friend is correct! The public bus system there is very expansive, easy to understand, and cheap. We took a bus from the main station on Gozo (Victoria) straight to Xlendi. To find the path, you will see stairs leading... More
