Highlands Tour to Bukit Tinggi French Village and Genting Highlands

1 review
Escape Kuala Lumpur’s heat and noise for a refreshing day in the Genting Highlands on a private tour for your group of up to six people. You’ll get sweeping views across the lush hill station as you enter the Genting Highlands on the Genting Skyway cable car, then enjoy the flexibility to tailor the day to your private group as you visit Chin Swee Caves Temple, Bukit Tinggi, and more.

Forest retreat for those whom are into Tibetan Buddhism. We chanced here en route to Chamang waterfalls 2km to end of route. It has a beautiful worship hall with a specific Tibetan Buddha in center of temple, said to be the biggest for this particular Buddha. There is a stupa outside as well as some Buddhist statues For non buddhists, I don' t think you ll need to spend more than 15 mins unless you want to learn more about buddhism. The staff is very helpful in case you have questions to ask. Please leave your shoes outside in the shoe cabinets and respect this house of worship.

Drop by here as it offers the biggest Dorje Shudgen statue I have ever seen to respect and pray to! Besides this, the place have many spiritual images and there are a number of "pastors" to giude you and relate Tibetan Buddhism for those interested!

During my visits, I requested for car blessings by Kechara Buddhist Pastor at Kechara Forest Retreat. The blessings are done and I feel safe driving my car with my family for travelling long distance and especially at Karak Highway. I also enjoy bringing my family to visit the Buddhas at Kechara Forest Retreat. There are a few big Buddha statues around the land that we can circumambulate and receive blessings. I especially likes to do meditation around the Dream Manjushri statue in a lake and do prostration at the Vajrayogini Stupa. Oh yes, there is a rescued birds aviary that we can visit. Great place for kids and adults to learn more about kind to animals. Recommended to have half day or day trip here with friends and family.

There is a small aviary and some nice Buddhist statues. It's a quiet place for a meditation retreat. Not a must but can check on your way to Chamang Waterfall.

For a long long time, for any pollution stuffed person from Kuala Lumpur to find a place of serenity and fresh clean air was a 3 to 4 hours drive to our beautiful Malaysian Highlands of Fraser Hills or Cameron Highlands. With the manifestation of Kechara Forest Retreat, it only takes me an hour to arrive at this blissful sanctuary from Kuala Lumpur. Kfr is built with love and care of a conscious community of kind people. As such besides having peace and clean air you are embraced with an atmosphere of tenderness. Kfr is a heaven on earth.
