Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was fairly clean and accessible. The main gate opens at 8am although coming earlier is recommended it is does get hot later in the day.
The crowds also arrive between 8am and 9am so it is best to go early to get a good spot. There are chalets and campsites available but I think it's too lowland enough to be pretty hot but as a day trip to enjoy the river, it is nice.
The parking lot can get crowded and getting out may require some driving skills!

very beautiful place to visit and camping while enjoying the nature . the place has a gate and information center with the ability to enter the park with own car and put the car close to camping site, chose place near river which give you another perspective of enjoyment , you can also spend the night their just brings your own tent with light hahah. the place is suitable to make barbecue and there are many sites to chose from with cover from rain if happens .

Nice place for a family and friends outing. Not to forget the green view, plants, and tree. The river is so fresh to take a dip.

Sungai Congkak is a famous recreational spot for families and friends to picnic over the weekends. There is also a camping ground that's famous for school excursions. My visit there in November 2018 and July 2019 was due to work, where we organized conservational activities for interested parties. I had the opportunity to experience the park over a weekend and a weekday. On a weekend, you'll have to share picnic spots with many other visitors and the place gets quite dirty because of the rubbish left after a picnic. Parking is a problem when it's the weekend. However, if you do get the opportunity to go over a weekday, I would very much encourage you to take the opportunity to drive all the way to Sungai Congkak. Why?
1. It's very, very clean because there are close to no one in the park. They'll be cleaners clearing up in the morning, and you'll have a pleasant picnic/camping ground, only accompanied by the sound of nature.
2. There's no need to struggle with parking - there'll be ample space to park in, right outside the park for just RM5
Other things to note would be the park fees (RM1 for Malaysians and RM5 for Foreigners), the unavailability of stalls for food/drinks (You'll have to drive out a little or better still pack your food from home!) and mosquitoes/leeches. A word of advice; When visiting places such as these, remember to be responsible and not to leave your trash behind so that others can enjoy nature to the fullest, too!

This is one of the good places to give a go for those who like the water places.Its a forest with waterfall running a long way.You could go to the last or you can stop in middle to enjoy a dip in the cool fresh water.cars are allowed inside,so I suggest you to take car inside the park(forest).Carry extra clothes as you can't stop yourselves from getting into the water.Its not deep as our 4yrs kids enjoyed the shallow waters.Carry some food and water.change room/wash rooms are there but not in a good condition.carry mosquito spray as it is forest with less sunlight.Enjoy your trip.

Complete with a tropical forest, bridges, wooden chalets, a river with swarming kids soaking and swimming, and many natural trails and pathways, this special retreat/resort is an ideal Sunday family day outing.
Most of the walkway is shaded, providing a refreshing relief from the UV rays. Do watch out for mozzies!

The recreational park is located along a river in a virgin jungle. A good place to camping, picnic or taking fresh air. Admission fee RM1 & parking cost RM4 per entry

There are long river throughout the forest. The river water is very clear, clean and good to swim at. The scenery of forest can be mesmerizing at times, surely a good place to run from hectic view at the city. There are unfortunately less activities to do here aside from river swimming.

Salam, who to contact to book camping spot. Also is it a long, far walk to camp site. Toilet, shower facilities?
