Driving thru the spine of the Philippines in southern Leyte province , I see what looks like a godola ride .Well I must stop and check this out.. It was not only a gondola ride but a 800 hundred meter zip line on top of a mountain across a beautiful valley to a nice smooth landing ,all in the prone... More

I was just passingby this bridge on my way to Surigao via land trip and I was captured by its enchanting beauty and height. Can't help but to pull over and enjoy the view. There's a parking area at the south end of the bridge with free clean rest room. Too bad the zip line was closed that time.

Such beautiful views here, very easy to pull over at the end of the bridge and go to the look out points. Such a shame that the Zip line is no longer allowed to operate, it would have been beautiful!

A view like my hometown. I love the sightings. Me and my colleagues went down our van to buy pasalubong and likewise they're excited to show me about this bridge. My colleagues are locals of this region.

I have seen few videos from this place and I was expecting to see what I had seen on these videos but that turned out wrong. The Cable car was parked at the top and had obviously been used for a long time, the Zip lines were gone and the whole place looked run down. I asked the lady in... More

This is a must-stop-pit-stop when on your way to Southern Leyte from Tacloban. The pit stop is well maintained by the local government. The toilets are immaculately clean and had tissue paper! But don't just go to the toilet! Walk down to the bridge and check out how deep the ravine is. It will give you an adrenaline high -... More

This place offers a great view and photography opportunity. We recommend taking a look, but be careful of the cars, and consider early morning viewing.

The hype is forgivable. There is so little to see and do in South Leyte that locals have to exaggerate this highest man-made bridge and claim that it has an exciting zipline and breathtaking views. Just temper the adjectives and peg them down two notches lower and you will not be disappointed. The kiosk that offers local delicacies sells the... More

I went over it on the way back to Tacloban. It is across a wooded valley and quite scenic. Ok for a short trip out of Sogod. Looks like there's some form of visitor centre there too, but I was crammed into a multicab with a dozen other passengers and the driver was hammering it to our destination, so didn't... More
