Many years ago it was almost a desert beach, with few tourists, and a soviet like apart hotel, it has the power to make you feel wild, you could sleep right on the beach, and if you walked for some km's you would find yourself in a totally desert beach. Today this wonderful more than 70 km's of almost empty... More

A beach with a view to Arrábida, very nice for adults and children. Depending on the season, you might get the company of mosquitos so bring a good repellent.

if you want to be alone in the beach you can,the only thing you have to do is walking a few metres in sand. The water is crystal clean and fresh. If you prefer being with other people during summer days is also possible.Pay attention to the dolphins once a day they show up

Good beach - not busy, not commercialised. Enjoyed it. Sun loungers cost 20 euros per day. Huge beach area. Helpful walkway to the major hotels.

Very nice beach, perfect to relax. The water is clean, a bit cold and regenerative. Close by there is Comporta beach full of bars and massage places.

Great beach to visit when you are in the área. The acess is not very good as you need to go by ferry or go about 1.5 hours from Setúbal( the nearest city). Its located in a very "IN" área near big hotels and a casino.

Overall it was a great day at the beach, with the necessary toilets and shower available just like that - one might think it is a regular, but I find it very nice and surprising to have such facilities by the beach for free, probably not the best experiences from before. More touristic place than Setubal that lays on the... More

Just 40km from Lisbon and just other side of river Sado from Setubal, Troia is a great destination for daytrip if you are visiting the Portuguese capital. There is some 18km of white sand, the beach is never too crowded if you go a bit further from the harbor and there are some really great views across the estuary towards... More
