The Museum houses a unique collection of historic small craft and memorabilia that have been brought together to form a fascinating exhibition. Covering many aspects of maritime heritage over the past century or so, our displays relate to boatbuilding, sailing, yachting, cruising, racing, and much more. All exhibits are under cover and on one ground floor level. Free adjacent parking. Refreshments. Shop.

Very interesting place to visit and it's not all about boats and I did learn a few things Gift shop is NOT expensive Coffee is good as the homemade cakes Helpful staff Well worth the vist

What an amazing place for boat lovers to visit. Packed full of marine craft of all kinds with quite a few surprise exhibits. A must - will go again when on the Island.

If you like bats then go see this, lots of interesting old boats and associated memorabilia, Cows s known frets sailing heritage.

The museum is in the process of moving to Cowes and only the "gallery" which shows nautical artifacts, pictures, trophies etc is open. This is well worth a visit for a very small entrance fee. They also sell coffee which is very useful if you...More

A great wet weather venue ....or, if you are only in East Cowes a short time a place to visit whatever the weather, Wonderful exhibits.....lots of useful information and friendly volunteers on hand.
