Great for snorkeling
Sep 2019 • Couples
Spent a lovely morning here. Free beach after sun loungers. Pebble but snorkelling great with wreck about 40 m out. Stones slippy when getting in and out.

Day at the beach
Jul 2018 • Couples
Had a spectacular day at a special and remote beach. Staff attentive. The nearby Ristobar Spoldo Beach has surprising variety of food and drinks. Equally great service. The entire experience is non-commercial and unspoilt. Beach great for small children.

Great snorkeling experience!
Jul 2016 • Friends
Nice pick if you wanna do some snorkeling - the wreck is clearly visible from the water-level and you do not really need to dive deep. Not too far from the beach, really. There's a nice little kiosk just above the beach run by a nice and gentle lady who knows a lot about the wreck, its story, and the surrounding area.

Nice fee diving spot
Jul 2016
Great spot for families to join the underwater world of free diving in these crystal clear waters og Pomonte. No sediment in the water makes the sight very good.

beautiful wreck, easily accessed
Aug 2015
The beach itself is small but nice. Perhaps a little crowded, but this is rather common on Elba in August. Anyway the Pomonte wreck was the main reason we came there. Diving was absolutely amazing. Pretty shallow but beautifully preserved wreck, even OWD divers can handle. And it is sooo worth it :)

Great place to spend a day
Jul 2015 • Couples
Due to the recent heat wave, most of the beaches we went, the water were not that clear. Here is the good place to spend a day doing some snorkeling because there's a sunken ship close to the beach in reachable distance. Only thing really painful is walking to and coming back from the sea cuz the beach is made with rock not sand. Today is quite windy and wavey, we were having hard time to manage our path without falling. In general, it's not so crowded like cavoli or marina di campo. Easy to find free parking lot near the main road and €15 for umbrella. May not be a perfect place for kids but definitely a recommended place for adult.
