What a hidden gem of a course! Even though the course has plenty of elevation, the layout is great. Each and every hole has unique charm and many have breathtaking vistas. Of course some holes also have challenges to test your skill level. The staff are pleasant and very helpful especially for first time visitors. Looking forward to a return... More

An absolutely beautiful and challenging course. Liked it so much, returned the next day. A tad slow, but the views compensated for the times we had to wait.

I had read several places about bad conditions at this course, but it was great when we were there in early August. I used just about every club in my bag. None of the holes repeated another. There were many challenges throughout the course, but none of them ridiculous for the average golfer. The greens were in perfect condition. Be... More

Could be a great golf venue but poorly maintained. The course has multiple elevation changes which increases the challenge. Views are magnificent. Course is poorly maintained and could be a premier track. No marshal and there is a divot issue!

This is a wonerful layout with beautiful views. It is very well conditioned. The staff was friendly and professional. It is the location of a Canadian PGA event in September 2015

great golf course spoilt by young man in pro shop that would not believe that I had paid for golf through a discount provider with whom they have a business relationship, even though when I provided my T off time, told me my 1st and last name and cost of playing. Cody insisted on a confirmation number which had been... More

We played this course on our way to play the Cabot courses. It was a great start to the trip as this is a beautiful course. I'm from PEI, and this stands with any course on the Island. It is challenging and narrow but the views are beautiful from all over the course. If you are planning a trip to... More

The Lakes was the first stop on our Cape Breton Golf Tour. It was a good stop and the holes were varied and interesting. There were lots of elevation changes and the greens were in fair to good shape.

Amazing layout for players of all levels. Five star course with some of the nicest views you've ever seen on a golf course. Must play for anyone who loves golf.

I may be bias as I haven't ventured out to Inverness to play yet but I love this course. Top notch! Very challenging greens. I haven't ran into problems with tee times since I tend to tee off later in the day so it has been wide open for me, Twilight also helps the pocket book. If you are slicing... More
