You definitely need a guided tour here. Guides are big fans of their job. Museum contains almost all samples of russian airforce planes. A lot of them are single samples. One of the world's best aviation museums.

This is a very beautiful and interesting museum. I saw some airplanes there that I can see in the world nowhere else (for example Tu-144,Mi-12,Mig-105,Myasishchev M-50).If you intend to visit this museum you can travel by train, the trip is aproximetly 1 hour from Moscow.

Very interesting museum! Specially the prototypes. From wooden bombers, vtols, mach3 bombers, ekranoplane, tu144 etc. - go there with the suburban trains from yaroslavski station in Moscow. Try to choose the "reks" trains as they are more comfortable. Remember to keep the ticket all through...More
