Lovely town, Chateau of Assier is not expensive, the door is amazing, but it only has one side left of the four, the rooms are empty other than the fireplace. The garden has nothing, if you are outside it is hardly worth paying to go in unfortunately, the staff are enthusiastic and very good especially with the French children activities.

The sad part about this castle is that the best parts arent revealed. But the front door is magnificent. Shame to miss it if you are passing through the village.
