Stunning scenery. I'm so glad that our tour guide made it as far as Bixby Bridge. It was well worth hurrying some parts of our journey so that we made it to this spectacular place.

Stopped to take a picture of the bridge and the coastline. A lot of people around but you can get a nice shot as long as the fog is gone.

Best view of the bridge and ocean is just before the bridge. There are 2 bridges so make sure you don't just stop at the first one if you are headed south.

Need to approach from the north, but it's not a very long drive from Carmel by the Sea and it's a pretty drive with lots of pull outs

just check the caltrain website for Highway 1 closure before you start.. based on the reports in local media, some portion will remain closed for few months because of damage to bridge.. so definitely you can not do... More
