If you are driving along the Pacific Coast Highway, I would recommended you take a moment to stop and take a photo with one of the most photographed photos in the area. If possible, aim to be there for sunrise or early morning as it...More

Beautiful photo op. Saw bridge on tv. There really is not much more to say as it is a bridge over the beautiful Pacific ocean.

This is a very beautiful bridge along the Pacific Coast Highway. It is about 20 minutes drive from Carmel. There are some parking spots before the bridge, if you are coming from Carmel. The bridge is next to the coast and the Pacific Ocean. The...More

This bridge is the most photographed one along the Big Sur Coast. It's also one of the easiest to photograph because of the pull offs north of it where the land juts out a bit making it a natural to photograph.

I'm no engineer, just a lover of beautiful sights / landscapes and Big Sur is one of these. The coastline, the bridge, everything here is wonderful. Unfortunately, because of this winter and spring's landslides most of the highway is closed to traffic. Still, if you're...More

The Bixby Creek bridge is a wonderful, curving piece of architecture and it's set on one of the most beautiful coastlines on the planet. It's worth stopping for a photo, but it really isn't much of an attraction. Watch for cars...the road can get busy.

Bixby bridge is on highway 1 in the Big Sur area of California. It is an older bridge that is quite attractive. With the Pacific Ocean and beach it is a nice place to stop, enjoy the view, take photos and relax.

An iconic vista. You can stop on the north side of the bridge as you drive along Route 1. Beware of the crowds.

Hey its a bridge. Wow, big deal- must be all of 80 years old. You would think by the number of cars parked that this was something fantastic. We stopped for a gander and thought, well not much actually. It is a concrete bridge. You...More

Need to approach from the north, but it's not a very long drive from Carmel by the Sea and it's a pretty drive with lots of pull outs
