The views from this bridge are fantastic! Approaching the bridge, it looks like something from a movie. Savor the drive across and stop along the way for photos!

I thought this area would be much busier but there were only a few people there. The sunset and changes of colour over the bridge and surrounding are were amazing.

Nice to spend some time here. You will need a jacket in July. It has a breathtaking view and clean and fresh air. Good outdoor trip.

This is what you will find if you look at images of Big Sur. Driving from the north you come acroos it very quick and can be driving on it before you know it. There is a small turn off that gets very busy, so if its full try the other side of the road. There is also a very... More

The drive from Simeon to Carmel is one of the most awe inspiring in the world. Shockingly beautiful vistas of the Pacific. Amazing hairpin turns and up and down. I wouldn't want to do it at night and you have to be careful, but it is an unbelievable drive and Bixby Bridge is one landmark that has been on every... More

Driving on the bridge, it lasts a few seconds. But when I'm looking at it from short distance, it feels like it should last longer. Off to the side of the road after the bridge is a nice vista point that gets pretty busy. Some people will have to park on the dirt road on the other side of the... More

Made the drive up the coast and this was one of the spectacular views along the drive. Nice no cost thing to do in the area. Just watch up for the bikers that are sure to be sharing the road with you along the way.
