About
Bukit Broga Hill along the border of Negeri Sembilan and Selangor is a must-visit for outdoor lovers and avid hikers. This well-marked hiking spot sees droves of hikers in the morning, hoping to scale its three main peaks. The first two peaks, while shorter, offer unobstructed panoramas of the verdant valley landscapes, especially stunning at sunrise. If you're feeling up for it, make the ascent up the last and highest peak—it'll take only about an hour or so. You can follow fellow hikers up the trail or even opt for a hiking guide.
Visit on weekdays for fewer crowds and visit during the dry months for better weather. – Tripadvisor

Parking Open space by gravel road leading to trailhead
The coordinates 2.940747, 101.903612
Distance- 3.90 km ( Both Ways )
Elevation 326m
Difficulty- Moderate with multiple Dragonback climbs
There is 2 parking area for Broga Hill. First one is paid and under a palm oil estate. Second one is free but park on side of gravel road please look for that signboard in my picture and turn left( Its 1-2 min further down from the 1st paid parking ).
Follow the gravel road and crowd and you will reach the trailhead further down after passing 2 intersections in my pictures. Once you see the nicely tiles pathway, rope support fences you are in.
No streams and puddles here. Great view once you are at the top. Total of 3 view points. It’s a wide open space and not shaded so bring your cap or umbrella as you will thank me on your way down.
Permit is required from the Selangor forestry office which you need to apply in advance and not availabl on site or you hike at your own risk if there are any surprise inspections conducted by the forest officers.

went on November 2021, each person needs to pay RM5 for parking and another RM5 for hiking. They said, RM5 for parking but they count per head in the car. VERY EXPENSIVE, NOT RECOMMEND !! hill is full of lalang. easy trail.

Challenging hiking spot. But, WHAT SPOILT OUR DAY IS WE HAVE TO PAY RM5 PER PERSON FOR PARKING (they will count and charge each person in the car) & ANOTHER RM5 ENTRANCE FEES PER PERSON (as we walked further up before then hiking start)!!!!
Totally overcharged and the view is not worth the price. With this charge, expecting a more well maintained toilet and facilities with a friendly staff.
They were 4 of us. Total of Rm40 for Broga Hill Fees.
But we had fun.

Came to broga hill for hiking but was surprised by double payment at parking and entrance ( RM 5 FOR parking and additional RM 5 for extra cheese.. I mean entrance). Hiking experience was not bad but not challenging. On the positive side, the view was quite nice to take pictures. But still not worth the double charges for parking and entrance smh.

Hiked Broga Hill with my boy, good bonding session. Relatively easy to scale up to first "hill". Behind hills need ladder and rope, but still doable. Most will climb before sunrise, and admire the horizon. Google "SengkangBabies Broga Hill" for more photos on our blog.

Not so challenging. A good option to burn some calories, took one hour to hike up from the parking spot to the 3rd view point. A little bit irritated when entrance fee was collected twice. First, when getting into parking spot (the ticket wrote entrance fee and parking fee). The other one were located half-way up the hill (the ticket wrote entrance fee, FREE-Parking). That's confusing! Overall , the hiking experience was great. Come late at 8am or after to avoid the crowd.

We started our climb at 6am. Pitch dark. Good to have torchlights. The tracks up are quite clearly marked. And I suppose there will be others heading up too. So for first timers like us, we followed those in front of us. The so called 'caretaker' also advised us that at the junctions, just pick the trail leading upwards.
Since it rained the day before, the trail was a bit muddy and slippery. We were basically on our hands and feet, coming down. So it's a good idea to bring a change of clothes so that your car seats don't get mud on them! There is a toilet at the car park area. The lady charges RM1 for the use of it.

We wanted to go up the hill to see the sunrise and we started early around 6am from the foothill. Entrance fee when you want to park your car is RM1 per person and when you hike up you will need to pay another RM1. If the place is really dark and the road is not even with holes all over. So you will need to bring your torch light and wear proper shoes. Slippers or sandals is a no no.
The early stage is quite pleasant not too tiring but as you reach further up it gets steeper and it will become more challenging for people who do not do hiking. For professional hiker I guess this is ok. Just take your time and slowly hike your way up. Certain stretch especially towards the first stage is quite steep and can be dangerous. If it’s raining and wet then it can be very dangerous as it can be slippery. Luckily for us it is a dry day.
We got up to the first stage which is 880ft high to see the sunrise but it was a bit cloudy and so we didn’t really see the full sunrise. But the view at the top is fantastic. Of course if you are up for it then there is the stage 2,3 and 4 which will be more challenging. We just stopped at stage 1 and then we make our way down.
If you slowly hike up it will take from 1 to 1.5 hours depending how fast you hike up.
Overall it is a good exercise and it is satisfying when you finally reach the first stage and see the view from the TOP. I would recommend this activity if you are into nature and hill hiking.
