Elephants really have fund while bathing at river Periyar. A must visit place for family with Kids. Elephants, Deer Park, River side walk, Deer Park Walk way, the fresh air and what not.

The visit to Kodanad Elephant offers nothing fresh. The training centre has been shifted to another place.

Good one that is near Cochin. Family day trip is recommended. You can see elephant feeding, bathing etc. Apart from Elephants, deer park is also there. Of course, Kerala government can improve this and make it better.

Any training being done should happen with compassion and definitely no Elephant riding should ever happen.

There were no baby elephants. Honestly, they were training elephants with cruelty... My son even cried looking at the scene.

All the elephants have been moved to the recently opened Eco Tourism Center Abhayaranya, Kaprikad. This new place is around 3-4 kms frm the old place.
