The road with many beautiful brigdes over the Atlantic ocean where you can fish and if you are lucky enough you can get some big pollock or cod. And many fine places for tent and cabin, most er free of charge as usual in Norway.

So beautiful! Make sure you make a stop or two along the road and go for a walk/climb on the rocks! Watch out though, it can be slippery!

The Atlantic road is marked along the road but the main attraction (8 bridges between the little islands) is pretty short. We picked a sunny day to visit and the view of the sea is amazing. Driving tip for the campers. Drive slow, nobody is...More

Generally I'm not one for your 'tourist board approved scenic drive', but we did three of them on our trip to Norway, and they were genuinely spectacular. This particular one is a great combination of amazing scenery, with fabulous civil engineering - swooping bridges, and,...More

Seaview with style. Here you are able to Se and feel the North Atlantic / Norwegian sea. Beautiful both in good and bad weather.

Well worth the drive. The roads and tunnels make the construction of this wonder a destination. lt is one of Norway's most visited destinations. The scenery is rural and you see the real Norway.

For us, it was just another bridge in Norway. Cost some money to get there and out of it. A few good clicks if what one will get. Nature itself is very abundant in Norway. If it were a windy day then the experience can...More

Atlantic Road is so amazing as we drove towards the road is like its ending. It’s a beautiful road. We stop there and enjoyed the Atlantic Ocean view and took lots of pics. It’s very windy though.

We happened to visit on a sunny and calm summer day. But we had seen pictures of the storms flushing enormous waves over the huge bridges. Even in calm weather, the Atlantic Road (just a few miles long) is breathtaking. We found a well run...More

Having walked around Molde - a nice place but with little to do, we took a taxi ride along the Atlantic road. It was definitely worth a look but a taxi for 2 was expensive - much better value if you can find people with...More

Don't worry, wherever there is a good place to admire ocean panorama or road view there is a parking. In the most beautiful place (near the odd bridge end) there is a big parking, toilets, coffee shop and a gorgeous passage... More

The actual Road is very short so we drove it BOTH ways! There are several places to stop and walk and take pictures, have a coffee, etc.
