Visit Cylindra in Sykkylven, and see the exhibition of unique sculptural furniture in a beautiful fiord scenery. Be induced by the exotic shapes of these pieces of furniture that mirror Norwegian nature and traditions. Experience some of the most remarkable furniture Norway has to offer by visiting Cylindra furniture workshop in Sykkylven. The adventure begun in 1984, as Peter Opsvik started making furniture out of wooden listings, glued together in the shape of cylinders. Visit the workshop, and indulge yourself in the magnificent collection, today comprising more than 200 objects. The practical function of the furniture is subordinated these objects were created to challenge your senses and get your imagination going. Let yourself be whisked away into Cylindra's seductive world, where the Norwegian nature and soul is reflected in these remarkable objects. In addition a new gallery was opened in ovregata 2 (alesund city centre) spring 2008.
