The beach was a little disappointing - lots of weeds in the sand and gritty water. The children's play area was well equipped, clean washrooms and BBQ area

Our kids spent hours on the beach. We did not mind as the scenery was beautiful and the boardwalk is great for a stroll. The little museum was interesting for a read and look through as well.

Providence Bay beach is a must-see and do when on the beautiful Manitoulin Island. Soft sand, a boardwalk, play structure, and ice cream available :) - it's a great day every time.

Beautiful Sandy beach, with a children's playground and even a "beach gym"! The boardwalk is at least 2km long and perfect for an evening stroll. The sunset made for some beautiful pictures as well.
