This was a pleasant steam train ride, you could get off and pop into a pub for drink/lunch and then get another train back. The journey itself was a little disappointing as the views were not that great, a lot of trees along the way.

Both stations offer things to see, but Froghall station is a short walk from Froghall Wharf which is lovely,it has a tea room called Hettys which is well worth a visit,you can walk alongside the Canal if you have the time.

In the main yes, but on selected events journeys are restricted to certain times. However on such occasions this is advised at time of booking :)
