For a unique experience and a very warm welcome, the stunning Wedgwood Museum is the place to visit - whether you just like looking at beautiful objects or have a specialist interest. We are the home of one of the most interesting ceramic collections in the world. Our galleries tell the story of Josiah Wedgwood, his family, and the company he founded two-and-a-half centuries ago.

New visitor experience for 2015! As a result, we are closing the site to customers from 24th December 2014 through until June 2015.

We visited with our Jaguar Club. The visit had been booked for some time. The staff were extremely helpful in every aspect of making this a most enjoyable visit for our club. The refurbishment is amazing and the exhibitions are displayed imaginatively and with plenty of information. So much to see. We enjoyed coffee/tea and biscuits on arrival and then... More

If you have an interest in the history of fine pottery this is a must. There is a vast range of Wedgewood dating back its beginning.

Great range of exhibits and a must for students and schoolchildren who are studying aspects of pottery. Not so... More

I was given a day's visit to Wedgwood as a present. What a magical place! The whole day was wonderful. The staff were magnificent, the museum, factory tour and shopping were fabulous but the best part was throwing a pot! I loved it and will definitely go back.

This museums explain part of the history of the family and the company. Josiah Wedgwood was grand father of Charles Darwin and his (Charles Darwin) wife was a Wedgwood, among other curiosities. You can see pieces of work of the founder and how he managed to create this successful business. You can see how and in what Josiah was working... More
