One of the best place in sri lanka for bird watching specially during migratory bird season (December - January). Lot of birds can be seen by the sides of south cost road, Punarin road and thaleimannar road.

Please visit this place late evening as the sun is very strong until late evening. The light house looks so magnificent and you can look out to the sea when you stand next to it.
