Ancient temple sacredly worshipped by buddhists. It is a place where sri maha bodhi spent a night while travelling to anuradhapura. So much in written. Hot at day. Wild animals kingdom at night.

this is ancient temple with rock situated 40km way from anuradhapura. if you are going you must go in morning or evening time. otherwise difficult to climb the rock . in the way to this temple you can buy mango with reasonable price . also...More

temple is situated on a giant rock.. and usually the area is a sunny and hot area. and when the sun heats the rock, it gets hotter.😂 otherworld nice place for a history lover.

of great significance to Buddhists, the view from the top is great. However a word of caution - getting to the top is not for those with mobility issues.

When we arrived we thought this beautiful place was closed. The main entrance was blocked with scaffolding, but only because the wall and gateway are being renovated. Go round to the right and you will be able to get to all of the site. A...More
