Beautiful lake surrounded by mountains and lush plants. Not that many tourists so the place is quiet and very relaxing. Swimming in the lake is awesome! We asked our taxi driver to make a small stop at the top of the mountains on our way...More

Definitely one of the highlights of our trip around Ghana. A huge meteorite lake is hidden in the big crater rounded with hills, primary forest and 24 rural villages. If you feel to escape from bustling Ghana cities this is one of the best places....More

Try the boat ride at sunset around 5:30pm even the 15 mins ride will be enough! I really enjoyed it and the skies were perfect. Just sad part of the lake had a brown foam on it :(

I loved the serenity and the story behind the lake. Intriguingly, are the old tree trumps in the lake. Had a boat ride over the lake with my buddies and horse ride round it. It was worth the long trip from Kumasi.
