A delight. Takes you to another time. Or better yet, quietly brings the adoration of another time to you now. A nearby small cafe served delightful fresh peaches, still warm from the sun, with vanilla gelato. Off the beaten path.

Could spend hours in there. Very, very old roman style abbey and very magical. The artwork alone is marvelous. Surviving many hundreds of years and the architecture is just fascinating.

A magic location, on Monferrato hills, a site rich in history and - above all - a high artwork, for its architecture, sculpture and frescoes.
