Best rafting ever. I have rafted in US, Canda, Bali, other places in Malaysia and this is a hidden gem. It has 3-4 rapids and each was a bait and the adrenalin rush was there in each rapid. Last kilometer was floating with gentle current to cool you off. Mid stop at the waterfalls was nice. Also the jumps in the river at pineapple point and falls added to the thrill of the whole experience
The coordinated flip was fun...
The guides were Mamat, Mok, Pucah and Banai were so experienced and guided us at all points. Mr pie is the person who lead and coordinate the trip. They were the best ever

I have tried many white waterraftings from NZ, Bali, Sabah Sg Pedas, Gopeng, this was the best so far, operator-wise as well as location. Pierose is a class above others. Pie speaks perfect English and he puts everyone in a good mood before the start of the rafting. He is great and very good at what he is doing. He is very attentive and helped the ones wearing glasses to secure them nicely while other operators would just pass out the rubber bands and be it.
The water at Sg Selangor is good, with no rubbish in sight. Some parts of the river are so clear that one could see the bottom.
The entire experience is fantastic and exhilarating. We are a family of four, we have passed 55 and our two children are in their early 20s. We were given one boat by ourselves. The other 2 parties with 3 pax were given a boat each. We appreciated that very much as other operators squeezed 6-8 pax on a boat and we were 3 or 4 pax to a boat. Trust me, it makes a HUGE difference to the trip and the enjoyment level. We were having so much fun and I told my husband that I have not laughed and screamed so loudly for many years. The crews were just amazing, they maneuvered the boat so well and at times tipped us over to the river and created the "wow" effects while shooting the class III and class IV rapids.
After the outings, Pie sent us all the shots and videos that he made for us. We looked thru them and laughed at all the candid shots.
We enjoyed ourselves so much and we could not stop talking about it for the next two days. We love it!!!

We had a wonderful water rafting experience with Pie and his crew, everything from equipment to briefing to rafting was professionally handled. We are a group of adults and teenagers who are mostly first time into water rafting activities. We were given safety briefing, training on rafting techniques on land and later on river too. and we were briefed on every upcoming rapids and falls so that we were mentally prepared on how to follow instructions and handled the paddle and be on the correct side of the raft. There was a stop at a small waterfall to enjoy the view of the river and some simple snacks and fruits. And finally a last 1 KM floating down the river enjoying the view till the pickup point was simply enjoyable being in the clean river and close to nature. Photos and videos were also taken by the crew and shared with us after the trip is really a nice gesture from Pie and crew for us to keep these good memories. Not forgetting the lunch prepared by Rose was simply delicious and timely after much excitement on the river. This is overall an unforgettable experience and highly recommend for groups wanting to check out water rafting experience at KKB.

Hi kgokulk,
We are very glad you enjoyed the trip with us.
We have been running white water rafting on sungai selangor since 1996 and each time we do the run we always feel excited and passionate as when we first started. And each trip we run, we try to share that excitement and our passion of white water rafting with our participants and make sure they enjoy it as much as we do.
Thank you again for the supporting us and also the good review.
Cheers,
Pie

Loved every bit of it~
Went with a group of 5 (4 of us aged around 19 and one aged 50) and only one of us had been water rafting before. Hence, for most of us, this was a new experience. Unfortunately, it rained the night before we went so we ended up going to Slim River and the water levels were quite low. Despite the increased difficulty that Mr Pie warned us about, we were all still happy by the end of it.
Safety wise, Mr Pie was very thorough in the safety briefing and gave clear instructions on how to handle the raft before we even got into the waters.
Also, my group and I chose not to have lunch there and went off on our own after rafting to eat elsewhere. So for groups going that want to bring their own food, that option might just work (also, you save some money!).
Note: Mr Pie did inform me earlier that there is a possibility that we would not go to Selangor River.
Below are some tips based on our time with Mr Pie and his team.
Tips:
~ if you have water sports shoes I recommend you do wear them because some rocks can be quite sharp. Do bear in mind that sand will get in them though!
~ don't bother bringing a camera in the raft. Mr Pie helped take pictures for us that turned out great so don't worry about not capturing moments. Also, with people going overboard and the raft (potentially) capsizing, things can be lost easily. That brings me to the next point^
~ Be wary of wearing accessories (eg. watches, necklaces, rings, bangles, etc.) One of my friends lost his bracelet that he bought all the way from India :3
~ WEAR SUNSCREEN! The Malaysian sun, as always, is brutal.
~ I highly recommend that those going rafting know how to swim. If they can't swim, then hopefully they are able to remain calm in unexpected situations. People going overboard occurred quite frequently on my trip X3
~ Prepare yourself if you're the kind of person to get motion sickness easily. It's not just the rafting itself, but the car trip to the river can be bumpy too.
~ When you go overboard, Mr Pie advised us to keep our butts elevated. Please do exactly just that should you go overboard. My brother didn't lift his rear end high enough in the waters and ended up with some bruises because of the rocks, hehe.
That's all I have for now. Overall, I highly recommend Pierose Swiftwater :)
Have fun!

Pierose is managed by a team of husband and wife while Pie manages the water rafting portion, Rose cooks. Definitely will go to them again for another expedition, i felt their professionalism while feeling safe the whole time. Pie would run around the rapids and hop from boat to boat to help take pictures and video as obviously it would be hard for us to do that while worrying we would fall into the river. Love the team and a fun group to be with too. A must go!

It was an absolute fun ride. Pie is a man of his word, he promised a good time and we had a good time. Though we had to change the location due to the weather, but it was still as great.
The ride was right and the price was right.
It also included lunch at the end, was really cool to try their cuisine.
We enjoyed it a lot thanks to the good man Pie. At the end he uploaded the pictures they took of us while rafting ...
Hopefully we can visit again and enjoy the crazy ride

I went there with my mom and dad, aged 48 and 54,and I was concerned about their safety. But the team here is of very high quality and they managed everything really well. Very good to do a family trip here.

Everything about this activity was well run, from the detailed itinerary, to the in-depth safety instructions, to the tasty lunch provided at the end. I had never been whitewater rafting before, so I was a little apprehensive but everything was very clearly explained and our minds were put at ease. There were two experienced rafters in every boat and they gave us a choice, wherever possible, as to which rapid to go down. Some of the rapids were 'level 4' but once you did a few of the trickier ones, you confidence increased. There was plenty of time to jump into the water and glide down the rapids without the boat, and the two rafters in our boat were great fun. A fantastic day out all round!
